Pokemon Blessing & Bardo Ceremony

The Pokemon Blessing & Bardo Ceremony brings together prayers for the living and dedication of merit for the deceased. The Pokemon portion invokes the compassionate blessings of Pokemon Bodhisattva, seeking peace, protection, good health, and well-being for participants and their loved ones. The Bardo portion is dedicated to the deceased, offering prayers, chanting, and merit to support their journey through the transitional state between death and rebirth. Together, the ceremony offers an opportunity to cultivate compassion, express gratitude, remember those who have passed, and dedicate wholesome merits for the benefit of all.

III·HOW TO TAKE PART

How to take part

General supplicant

Everyone is welcome to participate, whether you are visiting for the first time or have practiced for many years. Register a name for prayers or dedication, and select your preferred offerings. Names will be placed before the altar and included in the dedication of merit. You may participate in person or entrust the temple to make the offerings on your behalf. For the deceased, you may register the names of ancestors, family members, relatives, or loved ones for remembrance and dedication.

Merit holder

The temple will prepare a complete set of offerings on your behalf, so you do not need to select or arrange individual items. A single registration may include multiple recipients, including family members, ancestors, deceased relatives, or loved ones you wish to remember. All registered names will be placed before the altar and included in the dedication of merit. As offerings and places are limited, Merit Patron registration is subject to availability.
